CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY ()
The Central Committee is the highest authority within the Communist Party of China and is elected by members of the National Party Congress. It has no fixed size but it is typically made up of about 300 members and nominally appoints the Politburo of the Communist Party of China. It is an important body that contains the leading figures of the party, state, and army.
