Understanding the Contacts Application
The contacts application has changed a bit in 4.0. The primary change comes from the introduction of personal profiles. The contacts application has also been renamed People.
In the 4.0 emulator, the People icon is available right on the home page (in the bottom icon row), as shown in Figure 30–7.

You can also access the People application from the roster of applications, as shown in Figure 30–8, where the icon is also titled People.
