The MODEL Clause

The MODEL clause introduced in Oracle Database version 10g provides an elegant method to replace the spreadsheet. With the MODEL clause, it is possible to use powerful features such as aggregation, parallelism, and multidimensional, multivariate analysis in SQL statements.
