Specific Problems and Their Solutions

There are numerous (possibly countless) types and kinds of problems. Therefore, there is no single solution to even a large number of problems. There are only good and bad (and in between) approaches to solving various kinds of problems. In this chapter, we select a few kinds of problems and suggest approaches to solutions and reasons for these approaches. In some cases we provide a solution and try to generalize from that solution. So this is a suggested approach chapter, one that is a possible pointer toward other solutions.

The problems addressed here are listed in Table 6.1 below.
