So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 6. Introduction to LINQ
Language Integrated Query (LINQ), which was discussed briefly in Chapter 1, is a unified model for accessing data in a declarative and object-oriented manner. This chapter covers LINQ more fully. Why the additional attention? The reason is that LINQ is the distinguishing new feature of Microsoft Visual Studio C# 2008. C# 3.0 has been extended in several ways to accommodate LINQ. Language extensions such as extension methods, lambda expressions, expression trees, anonymous types, and object initializers provide support for LINQ.
