So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
6 Research Foundation for the 14 Grand Challenges
6.1 Introduction
The premise of this chapter, in consonance with the theme of this book, is to identify and highlight how the tools and techniques of project management can be brought to bear on global challenges, from a research perspective (Badiru, 2010, 2019; Agustiady and Badiru, 2019). The National Academy of Engineering (NAE), in 2008, released a list of the 14 grand challenges for engineering in the coming years. Each area of challenges constitutes a complex project that must be planned and executed strategically.
