I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4 HOW PROJECT MANAGERS WORK: TOOLS, METHODS AND TECHNIQUES
In this chapter we’ll look at the ways project managers work. You’ll learn about the major tools, methods and techniques used on the job day to day. The main distinction in working practice – although with more and more companies choosing best of breed and blended solutions it’s becoming less distinct – is whether the project environment is Agile or waterfall/traditional. Understanding that terminology is the focus of the early part of this chapter.
