2 Change projects – types and effects
AN OFTEN REPEATED JOKE is that the only thing you can rely on is change. Whether it is small, large or somewhere in between, unless you are repeating something you know over and over ad infinitum, there will be a degree of change involved. In Chapter 3 we talk more about the importance of planning, but in this chapter we look at the importance of preparing for and anticipating the impact that change has on organisations, and more specifically on people and behaviour.
