It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Punctuation in Java is fairly simple:
Statements, as shown above, end with a semicolon.
Classes, interfaces, and methods use curly braces to enclose their definitions.
Java ignores whitespace when compiling.
