Eric Matthes was a high school math and science teacher for 25 years, and he taught introductory Python classes whenever he could find a way to fit them into the curriculum. Eric is a full-time writer and programmer now, and he is involved in a number of open source projects. His projects have a diverse range of goals, from helping predict landslide activity in mountainous regions to simplifying the process of deploying Django projects.
