Installation and Preferences

Now that we have covered the basics of sound systems and understand a bit more about different sound system configurations, the next logical step is looking to QLab itself and addressing how one sets up the software to interact with the sound system. For those who have used QLab 1 or 2 in the past, it might come as a bit of a surprise to see how much the software visibly changed between Versions 2 and 3. Rest assured, though, all of the same functions remain in the newest version – you just might access them in a different fashion now. We will work from the assumption that this is your first time to use QLab 3 and start from the beginning.
