QuickBooks Add-on Services
Not every company runs payroll or accepts credit cards for payment. If yours does, you might like the idea of business services that perform those functions using your QuickBooks data. Intuit offers several business services you can subscribe to—for additional fees. The price might be worthwhile when you take into account the cost of your employees'time or—far more valuable—your being able to relax on the weekend instead of catching up on company paperwork.
Figure 21-10. Top: The Business Services Navigator window includes links to every add-on service that Intuit offers. If you want to scour Intuit business services using your regular Web browser, navigate to http://quickbooks.intuit.com. In the toolbar, click Add-ons. Bottom: When you click a link, the program opens a second browser window with more details about the service and a link to sign up. To find out whether the service would be helpful, click Features. If money is the first thing you think of, click Pricing to find out how much the service costs. For example, Merchant Service costs at least $37.95 a month.
Note
QuickBooks Business Services require a connection to the Internet.
To see the services that you can receive from Intuit, choose Company→ Business Services Navigator and then click links to find out more on the QuickBooks Web site, as illustrated in Figure 21-10.
