Sometimes it seems that our society has gone app-crazy, and QuickBooks Online is a willing participant in the frenzy. In this chapter, I talk about apps that enable you to access your books from your mobile device, as well as apps that add new functionality. I also cover some automation aspects for QuickBooks, including importing certain lists and transactions, adding automatic subtotals to sales forms, making use of recurring transactions, and transforming paper or electronic bills and receipts into transactions.
