It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Software as a service (SaaS)
SaaS systems are providing an environment that is usually priced on a usage basis or on a subscription-fee basis. In addition, users have the ability to access cloud computing systems on their computers, using advanced computers, without having to install and maintain complex systems.
The SaaS applications model is typically priced as a monthly or a yearly fixed fee per user. Prices can be scaled and adjusted if a new user is added or removed. A disadvantage of SaaS is that users' data is stored in the cloud provider's server.
