Move Your App to Eclipse

There are several reasons you might want to move a sketch to Eclipse. First, it’s one way to prepare it for publication at Google Play, as we’ll see in Publish Your App to Google Play. You can use Eclipse to sign the application and to disable debugging, steps that Google requires and are recommended for any application you plan to release to the public. You might also want to move to Eclipse if you want to finish up your work by coding in Java code or making direct calls to Android APIs that aren’t available through the Ketai library. Or maybe the work you’ve been doing is a module in a larger Java application being constructed by a team that has chosen Eclipse as its development platform.
