4章Reactの基本
これまでの章では、最新のJavaScriptの構文と関数型プログラミングについて学びましたが、それらはすべて本来の目的、つまりReactについて学ぶための前準備でしかありません。ようやくこの章では実際にReactを使い始めます。
Reactを使うとき、必ずといっていいほどJSXを併用します。JSXというのは、HTMLによく似たタグをJavaScriptのコードの中に直接記述できる拡張構文です。JSXに関しては次章でじっくり学ぶので、本章ではReactの最小単位である要素とコンポーネントについて学びます。そして、カスタムコンポーネントを合成する手法についても学びます。
4.1 使用するライブラリ
ブラウザでReactを動作させるには、ReactとReactDOMという2つのライブラリが最低限必要になります。Reactはビューを構築するためのライブラリです。もう一方のReactDOMは、Reactで構築されたビューをブラウザで描画するためのライブラリです。両方のライブラリはunpkg.comが提供するCDNからダウンロード可能です。それでは、ベースとなるHTMLドキュメントを以下のように記述してください。
