Introduction

As introduced in Chapter 4, all computer-generated objects must be rendered within the rendering pipeline. To satisfy all possible demands of the rendering pipeline, the real-time rendering engine must be dynamic, interoperable, and extensible. Interfacing with the engine can be a challenging endeavor.
