Risk is a team sport. All good risk practice involves multiple stakeholders with a variety of perspectives. The more perspectives that an organization has on risk, the more it is truly risk capable. The reasoning here is not that we need more participants in the process. Instead, it’s that enterprises fare better when they have multiple viewpoints to bring to bear on the questions of “What are the risks?” and “What should we do about the risks that seem most significant?”
