It’s good to get signed up for Tumblr and make some early decisions before you spend too much time looking at existing tumblogs. By signing up first, you can subscribe to tumblogs you like within Tumblr and add favored content to your own tumblog.
Signing up for Tumblr is easy. Until you sign up, the home page of Tumblr is a big invitation to sign up, as shown in Figure 2.1.
Follow these steps to sign up for Tumblr:
