Lesson 13Measuring Site Search Usage
In this lesson, you learn how to track your visitor’s use of search on your site.
Understanding Site Search
If you have a fairly large website, you can make it easier for your visitors to find specific content by including some sort of mechanism to search your site. More often than not, this takes the form of a Google-like search box and accompanying search button, like the ones in Figure 13.1; visitors type their queries into the search box, click the Search button, and then see a list of pages on your site that match their queries.
