Chapter 14. Using Safari

As you saw in Chapter 13, “Connecting to the Internet,” it’s easy to configure Internet settings in Mac OS X Leopard. In this chapter, you learn how easy it is to use Safari, Apple’s own web browser, to explore the Internet.

The Safari Interface

Safari has much in common with other web browsers—a viewing area for pages and a toolbar for navigating between them. Figure 14.1 shows Safari as it appears when you first open it.
