Implementing and Verifying an IPsec Site-to-Site VPN in Cisco ASA
The Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) supports both IKEv1 (Version 1) and IKEv2 (Version 2). IKEv2 supported in Cisco ASA Software Version 8.4 and later. This section covers how to implement and verify an IPsec site-to-site VPN in Cisco ASA. The topology shown in Figure 7-8 is used in this section. A new branch office in Chicago needs to connect to the New York office over an IPsec site-to-site VPN tunnel. A Cisco ASA is configured in the Chicago office to terminate the IPsec site-to-site VPN tunnel.
