Hour 18. Using the Scratch Offline Editor

For me, the biggest change between Scratch 2.0 and Scratch 1.4 the previous major version, is that Scratch 2.0 is a cloud-based application. As you know by now, this means that you work on your projects by using an Internet connection and a web browser, and your projects are stored not on your local computer, but on the MIT Scratch website.

As convenient as the schema as, there is of course one Achilles’ heel: if you lose your Internet connection, then you lose access to your Scratch projects. Along the same lines, if the MIT Scratch Web servers go down for any reason, you lose access as well. What can we do about this?
