Monjur Ahmed is senior lecturer and research leader at the Centre for Information Technology (CfIT), Waikato Institute of Technology, New Zealand. Monjur’s research areas include Cyber Leadership, Information Security & Privacy, Securing computing environment through Decentralized Computing, Cloud Computing, edge computing, fog computing and Internet-of-Things. He has contributed in research events and conference in New Zealand and internationally with different roles as organizing/committee member. Monjur is a member (MIITP) of IT Professionals New Zealand (ITPNZ). He is certified in cybersecurity leadership and holds GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy and Leadership (GSTRT).
