COMPUTER SECURITY is a constant battle. From the moment a security alert is released, there's a race between black-hat hackers who look for vulnerable systems and administrators who install updates for those systems. That's tempered by the risks associated with some updates, since developers can't test updates against every possible hardware and software configuration.
