Intended title: A Load-Invariant Power Amplifier

It has been my experience that power amplifiers always, without exception, give more distortion with heavier loading, i.e., with a lower load impedance. This article looked into why that happens and tried to fix it.

To see if this extra distortion could be eliminated, or at any rate reduced with respect to its ‘normal’ levels, I conducted a small research program, and this chapter was the result. It was not possible to make the amplifier totally Load-Invariant, i.e., with the same THD at 4Ω as 8Ω, but I think I got pretty close.
