It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Abstract
In the present chapter, semi-Markov models of latent failures control for two-component systems, their stationary reliability, and efficiency characteristics are obtained. In Sections 3.1 and 3.2, the model of two-component system with immediate control and components restoration is given, and characteristics of serial and parallel systems are defined. In Sections 3.3 and 3.4, the model of two-component system with component deactivation while control execution in case of exponential distribution of components time to failure is discussed.
