Current
Current is the flow of electrons.
That is a great sentence. But its simplicity belies its importance and significance. Almost every fundamental definition in electronics is based on this one, and almost every problem in signal integrity has its basis in the flow of electrons, especially if that flow changes rapidly. If I were to identify the two most important concepts in this book, this would be one of them. (The other would be Ohm’s Law.)
