Chapter 11. Some Transmission Line Simulations
Mentor Graphic’s Signal Vision simulator is a useful tool for illustrating transmission line issues. In this chapter we look at several simulations of both good and bad designs to see what the differences are between them.
Basic Simulation
Figure 11-1 illustrates a basic simulation setup. The individual elements of the simulation are selected and placed on the work surface and connected together. The elements are then given values for analysis.
