We now have the initial conditions of our forest completed, and so it’s time to start applying some rules around life and death—you didn’t think this was going to be a happy forest, did you?
We’ll begin with the life cycle of each tree.
A simplified description of a tree’s life cycle might be that they grow from a seed, then, once they’ve become mature, drop seeds of their own, spreading life around them. Our trees should behave in a similar way.
