This chapter begins Part III of this book, which focuses on keys to project success. Chapter 3 presented several deployment case studies within the real economy to illustrate successful Six Sigma deployment beyond the factory floor. Chapter 4 then discussed the keys to successful deployment. This chapter follows a similar format, but now focusing on individual project success rather than overall deployment success. Of course, these two are closely related, in that successful projects are critical to creating a successful deployment.
