It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preface
It gives me immense pleasure to write the second edition of this book on sociology, which was my long run aim, and it has been fulfilled today. I thank my God who has given me the strength and the willpower to complete the task. Through this book, I would like to transfer my ideas to the nursing community to become a successful nurse in the society.
Sociology is a branch of science that deals with social functions of the society. It is important for every nursing student to understand and learn sociology because society is composed of people living with diverse culture, thoughts, beliefs, customs, and taboos.
