It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Menschliche Kommunikation ist ein sehr komplexer Vorgang. Wir technisch geprägten Menschen reduzieren Kommunikation häufig auf den reinen Informationsgehalt. Daneben gibt es weitere Ebenen der Kommunikation.
In der Psychologie gibt es verschiedene Modelle zur Beschreibung menschlicher Kommunikation (siehe Kasten unten). Eines der ältesten Modelle geht auf Sigmund Freud (1856 – 1939), den Begründer der Psychoanalyse, zurück und besteht aus vier Ebenen. Neben der inhaltlich-sachlichen Ebene gibt es noch drei weitere Ebenen der Kommunikation: die Geschäftsordnung, die sozialen Beziehungen und das Unbewusste (Abb. 8.1) [2, 21].
