Appendix B New Features for an Existing Code Base
This Appendix summarizes the origins and motivation for adding new features to RMH Homebase. These new features originate directly from the client, who at the time had been using RMH Homebase release 1.4 for over a year.
The actual implementation of these new features is discussed in Chapters 3–9 of the text. The working code base referenced in these chapters for illustrating the development of these new features is release 2.0, which can be downloaded from the book’s myopensoftware.org/textbook.
