1. State of Testing
This chapter answers some questions about the current crop of challenges and problems that plague the software testing process in organizations today. It offers some new ideas and approaches to testing. It can also give you a slightly different view on how you can accomplish testing with the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 testing tools. Following this is a series of examples of major failures in testing as a reason for why we, as an industry, need to change our approach to testing.
