In this part, we go out on a limb and show you some noteworthy (ouch!) songs that have stood the test of time. Just so the limb doesn’t break, instead of calling it “The Ten Best,” we simply call it “Ten Songs You Should Know.” These shining examples of the songwriting craft at its best are sure to inspire budding songwriters. Over time, you’ll surely create your own list of the songs that really “float your boat,” but this is as good a place as any to start your voyage. We also take a look at ten important song-related contracts that’ll undoubtedly cross your path as you navigate the waters during your songwriting journey.
