Creating Access Expressions

Chapter 5, "Entering, Editing, and Validating Data in Tables," uses several functions to validate data entry for most fields in the Personnel Actions table. Chapter 8, "Using Query by Example," uses an expression to select the states to be included in a mailing list query.
