Managing Print Jobs

Like Windows 3.1, Windows 95 offers the option of printing directly to the configured port or using its Print Manager. For most applications, the Print Manager provides facilities to better manage the printing of documents.

The Print Manager

To start the Print Manager, open the Start menu and choose Settings; then choose Printers and double-click the icon for the printer you want to manage in the Printer control panel (see Figure 5.4). Depending on the printers you have installed, your control panel will differ from the one shown in the figure.

Tip
