In Chapter 10, “Organizing Information with Tables,” you learned how to build formulas that performed calculations within a WordPerfect table. The same principles apply in Quattro Pro. Every calculation is considered a formula, even something as simple as 3+3. To build a formula, you can type any number, or one of the following symbols: -, $, (, @, #, ., %, or =. A formula might contain numbers, cell addresses, cell names, and operators. If a formula starts with a cell address, such as C4*D8, you must put a symbol in front of it or Quattro Pro will treat ...
