What Is SmartArt?

SmartArt replaces and improves upon the Diagrams feature in earlier versions of Word. Using SmartArt, you can create a wide variety of graphical conceptual diagrams.

There are seven main categories:

  • List diagrams—These diagrams show a list of items in a graphical format that helps to emphasize their importance.
