When a Director movie plays, it begins by displaying frame 1 on the Stage. Which members are shown on the Stage is determined by what is in the Score. The positions of the members are determined by how you placed them on the Stage. After frame 1 is displayed, Director waits an appropriate amount of time, usually a fraction of a second, and then displays frame 2.
