Changing the Sprite’s Member

Besides navigation, the next most important task that a Lingo command can perform is to change the properties of a sprite. Properties are attributes of sprites that describe anything from their positions on the Stage to their ink types. Changing the sprites’ properties is how you use Lingo to animate your sprites.

You will usually set sprite properties in the scripts attached to the sprites, but for now you can examine some sprite properties in the Message panel.
