Using Flash Member Lingo
Flash cast members are, no doubt, the most complex type of cast member. After all, they are created in Macromedia Flash, a program all to itself. Flash creates mostly vector-based animations streamlined for the Internet.
Flash members are made up of frames, just like Director movies. Each frame can contain different elements, such as shapes, bitmaps, buttons, and sounds. Rather than being a still media like bitmaps, Flash members are a time-based media like digital video. Most of the Lingo for Flash movies reflects that fact.
