It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This book is about photographing portraits, specifically those of athletes. It is about photographing amateur athletes in a flattering way. Many different companies take team photos, and they do a great job, but there is no reason you have to rely on them for a great photo of your athlete. I start with photography basics and then move on to gear, lighting, and taking photos both indoors and out.
