I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we learned how to develop REST-based web services using Spring MVC, and we also learned how to test those web services using the Postman HTTP client tool. We also covered the basic concepts of HTTP verbs and understood how it is related to standard CRUD operations. Finally, we learned how to use the AngularJs JavaScript framework to send an Ajax request to our server.
In the next chapter, we will see how to integrate tiles and webflow frameworks.
