たとえば、処理内容をトレースするためのログをデータベースへ保存する必要があるアプリケーションを想定
します。たとえビジネスロジックが失敗し業務データはロールバックしたいけれどもログデータの出力はコミッ
トしたいというような場合、トランザクション境界が入れ子となります。
たとえビジネスロジックとログ出力処理を別のトランザクション境界として定義しても、
Spring
のデフォルト
の伝搬レベルである
REQUIRED
を使用した場合は、ログ出力内容が業務データとともにロールバックされてしま
います。このような場合には、ログ出力向けのトランザクション境界の伝播レベルを
REQUIRES_NEW
に変更して
別トランザクションとすることで、業務データのロールバックがログ出力のトランザクションに伝搬しなくなり
ます。
