Perché SQL?
Dall'ultima edizione di SQL Pocket Guide sono cambiate molte cose nel mondo dei dati. La quantità di dati generati e raccolti è esplosa e sono stati creati numerosi strumenti e lavori per gestire l'afflusso di dati. In tutti questi cambiamenti, SQL è rimasto parte integrante del panorama dei dati.
Negli ultimi 15 anni ho lavorato come ingegnere, consulente, analista e data scientist e ho utilizzato SQL in ognuno dei miei ruoli. Anche se le mie responsabilità principali si concentravano su un altro strumento o abilità, dovevo conoscere SQL per poter accedere ai dati di un'azienda.
