I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Grant Fritchey works for Red Gate Software, a market leading software-tools vendor, as its product evangelist. He’s done development of large-scale applications in languages such as VB, C#, and Java; and he has worked in SQL Server since version 6.0. In addition, he has worked in insurance, finance, and consulting, as well as for three failed dot coms. He is the author of SQL Server Execution Plans (Simple Talk Publishing, 2008) and SQL Server 2008 Query Performance Tuning Distilled (Apress, 2008).
