This appendix describes how to create books, build its tables, and populate those tables with data. All the files that you'll need are available for download at this book's companion web site, www.peachpit.com/vqs/sql2. The files are compressed into a single Zip archive. To expand this file, use a decompression utility such as WinZip (Windows; www.winzip.com), StuffIt (Mac OS; www.stuffit.com), or gunzip or unzip (Unix). After decompression, read the file readme.txt for a description of the distribution.
