Comparing Internetwork Architectures
Computers are connected together using networks, and different types of networks provide different levels of trust. Primarily, there are four types of trust architectures: the Internet, an intranet, an extranet, and a demilitarized zone (DMZ, or perimeter network).
Consider Figure 3-9 as you review the definitions of each of these.
